Why Don't Our Competitors Post Their Prices ?

You've heard the claims, "We've been in the solar business since 1856" or "We'll reduce your electric bill to only $1.98 per month" or "You can receive a half million dollar cash rebate" or "You can trust us because we're a member of the WYBOBTYOC"  We're exaggerating of course but not by much ! You wouldn't believe some of the claims that we've seen over the years.

Sure you might be able to reduce your electric bill to a $1.98 per month, or receive a half million dollar rebate,  but what about the price ? What will it cost to achieve these results ?

They make lots of claims, but the one claim that we rarely see from these dealers is price. A price that's free of gimmicks, wild claims and hidden costs.

If you've been searching the Internet for a solar dealer for any length of time, you've probably noticed that many of the solar dealers that offer turnkey installations will never post pricing. They'll talk about the benefits of solar or how long they've been in business (Which by the way usually turns out to be the length of time they were in their previous business) or the $2.00 a month electric bills or why you should choose their company, but they simply will not mention pricing.

We're not suspicious by any means..... but why wouldn't a company post prices that they felt were competitive.........  unless of course, they felt that their prices were not competitive ?

Isn't that the bottom line ? The consumer wants to reduce or eliminate their electric bill and they want to know how much they have to invest to accomplish that goal. It's that simple !

Many dealers want you to fill out their "Solar Evaluation Form" with your name, address, your spouses name, your work phone, your evening phone, your cell phone, your blood type (just kidding !) What does all that information have to do with solar ?

The number one goal for many of these dealers is to get a smooth talking, high pressure sales person in your home face to face with you. Have you ever sat in a used car sales office ? Only this is worse because in many cases this guy's not going to leave your home until you sign on the dotted line.
